Steven yawned as he stumbled out of bed. Today was just like any other day on campus, boring and monotonous. Deep down he really just wished something new would happen to break the cycle of everyday.
He hear his phone buzz to life next to him. He picked it up and saw it was his boyfriend, Chad, texting him to remind him to stop by the Chem lab and pick up his project for him.
Stumbling out the door, Steven looked to the sky. Same as always, slightly cloudy and sunny. He waled over to the Chemab and swiped himself in. From there he began searching for Chad's project.
"Man I'm a Political Science major, I should not be allowed in here. Where is his lab again?" Steven opened a door and flicked on the light. "Man they run so many wires in here it's amazing no one trips and dies." He carefully weaved his way around the wires and desks until he came to a shelf with vials on it marked 'Chad'. He reached to grab them but they were just a hair too far.
"Of course Chad's 6''2' self would shove them so high. C'mon!" He jumped a little, shaking the shelf and spilling the contents of Vhad's project all over himself.
"Damn damn damn damn!" Steven sweated as he stood up, trying to use his shirt to clean his face. As he struggled to brace himself he grabbed an exposed sure, sending and electric shock through his body. He fell over, unconscious.
When he woke up he found himself in a nearby hospital, with Chad looming worriedly over him. It sent a surge of warmth through Steven's heart to see the muscular, short blonde haired guy, and knowing that he cared about him more than the smashed project.
"Steve! Are you ok?" Chad asked in a rush. "Yeah I'm fine. I think..." "I'm just a little worried, those vials haven't been tested on mammals before and they definitely haven't been exposed to electricity." "I'm sure I'll be fine."
