As Felix went about his daily chores, he kept an eye out for anyone that looked like they might help him, however, most of the slaves were too scared to even listen to him afer he told them of what he was planning, so, disheartened, he decided it was time to risk asking one of the gaurds, but who?

Felix was cleaning a statue of william when he got his answer, a group of gaurds wandered by, one hanging back a bit, wore a suit of gaurds armour, with four familiar gashes down the front of his chestplate. it was the gaurd who had exited the dragons cage just before he had fed it.

"c'mon Freed, we'll be late for lunch at this rate" one of the other gaurds called back to the straggler.

"yea yea, why don't you guys go on ahead...i'll catch up once i've seen the quartermaster about a new chestplate" he replied, stopping a few feet from Felix, waving his comrades on nochalantly.

The other gaurds nodded, heading for the barracks, leaving Felix and the gaurd Freed alone. Plucking up all his courage, Felix aproached the tall gaurd, taking extreeme note of the sword on the mans hip.

"...excuse me sir..." said Felix, just loud enough for Freed to notice him, the man turned around, his helmet obscuring his face from view.

"yes?" the gaurd asked him, seeming to be quite alright with a lowly servant talking to him.

"...your...Freed? the gaurd who went into the dragon's cage yeasterday...before me?" asked Felix back, intimidated by the gaurds face being hidden, his sentances came out few and far between.

"...thats me..." Freed answered, his voice was neutral, not giving Felix any chance of reading his emotions.

"...ok...you...saw the dragon right...?...do you...agree with how they're treating it...?" asked Felix, putting all his faith in the slim chance that freed shared his views on the mistreatment of the dragon.

"...do i agree with it...?" Freed said, echoing Felix's question with an annoyed tone in his voice, before replying. " its sickening...that creature isn't something for men to claim rights to...loke some sort of pet..." he said, an inner passion rising in his voice, almost like he was relived to get the words out of his mouth.

this at least, gave Felix some confidence. "then you saw her eyes...?" he asked, his own voice hopefull.

"...you mean the pain and suffering in them...? of course i did..." said Freed, looking down, as though disgusted in himself for not helping the creature." i tried to comfort the poor thing...but it was in a state of shock...and then...this" he told Felix, gesturing to his slashed chestplate.

Felix nodded, knowing in his heart that he could trust Freed. "then will you help me free her Mr.Freed?" he asked.

Freed looked taken aback, and seemed to be mulling the idea over in his head for a bit, before answering...
