Something circling overhead...

Ridley circled the small bounty hunter from above, his claws desperately trying to keep his lower half together. Blood dropped like rain from him, sizzling on the lake below.
Samus didn't hear it, nor felt it, and she began to swim towards the shore, forcing her body to keep moving, in the freezing cold water.
When she finally made it, she collapsed on the dry, cold sand, shivering and convulsing.
She didn't even notice when a creature picked her up and carried her off to its cave, where a fire was burning merrily.
She was laid beside the fire, on a thick animal pelt.
The creature watched her from the back of the cave with dark eyes.
It was humanoid, but much taller and its skin was a light shade of blue, and it had long white hair in a loose shiny cascade from its head. Covering its bottom half were leather chaps.
The creature was defined as male, being that it didn't have breasts as the other members of its species did.
He waited until Samus stirred.
