Chapter #4

Small, but Dangerous

    by: LGV Author IconMail Icon
The creature to her right was a small, bipedal creature. It most closely resembled a frog of sorts but even that was not a truly accurate description. Though its mouth was like that of a frog, the shape of its skull was more draconic in appearance. It had blue, translucent skin and what looked to be harmless spikes running the length of its spine to its nubby little tail. It had no claws, just stumpy little fingers. Its eyes were big and dopey. on its three-foot tall body.

Samus laughed to herself. For a moment there, she had been worried. Having gotten full sight of the the thing, she wasn't worried in the slightest. That squishy thing couldn't harm her at all. Hell, she could probably smash that thing with one punch or squash it with a sit. She continued to enjoy herself as the stumpy little monster waddled closer and closer, hunger in its eyes.

Without warning, a long, rope-like tongue shot out of the dragon-frogs mouth. It slipped over her legs and hips, wrapping tightly around her form. Sticky, warm spit dripped down her lower-half as she was dragged towards its opened maw. It was slow going, due to her size, but it showed no signs of stopping. Samus, struck with fear, struggled against the pull. Her strength was beginning to return to her, but did it come back in time? Did she break out before it dragged her in?

You have the following choices:

1. Yes, she managed to escape

2. No, she was swallowed

*Noteb*
3. No, but another weird creature inadvertently saved her

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
