After a few hours, Mia had been a supermodel, a housewife, a mermaid, three different Disney princesses, a veterinarian, and a babysitter for Chelsea. Mia was getting tired of having to smile so much especially through all the playing although it did feel nice when Katie said Mia was her new favorite doll and even prettier than Barbie.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Nicole stepped in. "Hey Katie cat," the teen greeted. "You've been so quiet since I got home, I was starting to worry."
Katie smiled, "I was playing with my new favorite doll."
"Oh," Nicole replied, "you got a new doll?"
"I found her downstairs," Katie summarized.
"Well, it's almost time for dinner, we have your favorite spaghetti and meatballs tonight,"
Katie put you down on the floor "yummy," the little girl said running for her door.
Nicole gently stopped her sister "not so fast little Ms.," she pointed to the floor with various dolls and doll clothes as well as playsets. "Aren't we forgetting something?"
"No," Katie replied, "I was gonna wash my hands."
Nicole laughed, "pick up your toys first or no dessert."
"Okay," Katie responded as Nicole returned to the kitchen. Katie began to unceremonially dump her toys into the toy box; this made Mia worried as she would be in trouble if she wound up a forgotten toy buried in Katie's toy box, of course, Katie seemed to like Mia, so perhaps Katie would put her somewhere special.
