The king is in the courtyard when he sees the stables is empty, so he enters to quietly change into his first form, and with a last glance around he grabs the first potion and swallows it down.
The magic goes to work and the King feels the world shrinking as he grows to his new form. Glad with the idea of being larger and harder to intimidate he doesn't notice when things turn a little strange. He falls forward onto his hands and lands with a loud clopping noise. Suddenly panic stricken he sees his reflection in a shovel by the floor. He sees that he now has a horses head, and the body is in agreement. Desperately he looks for another potion, and sees the potion bottles in the saddlebag on the saddle cinched around him. It might as well be on the other side of the kingdom.
The king starts to breath heavily as panic overcomes him, when he sees a stable boy, his equine nature takes over. The king curses his desire to go among his people as one of them, it is making him behave as a horse around horses.
