Sonic chuckled a bit and dropped you. "Let's have some fun."
You shivered. This wasn't the Sonic you knew. He was much more twisted, and he seemed much crueler than he did in the games. "Wh-what kind of fun?" you asked timidly, taking a few steps back.
Sonic smiled. "I'm gonna play with you however I want. But I thing it'd be more fair if I gave you a 'fighting' chance." he chuckled.
Immediately, something in the back of your mind clicks. "You want to fight?" you asked, bewildered.
Sonic got in a fighting stance. You inch back. He lunges at you. You dive out of the way, scratching yourself up in the process. "Come on, you little coward. Fight!" Sonic demanded, coming after you again.
"I won't fight you!" you announced, but your silent concern falls on deaf ears. You ducked at just the right second and scrambled away. "I don't want to fight you. I don't want you to get hurt!" you pressed.
"You think you can hurt me! Ha! I'd like to see that! You're nothing but a wuss!" he scorned.
You've had enough of this, and as he lunges again, he tries to kick you, but you jump up and land on his leg. He focuses most of his energy trying to get you off. To the point he doesn't notice that you've moved! You climb up and onto his head. As most people are aware, the ears of any living creature are very sensitive. You walk over to his ears, which he notices much to late. With a hard pinch, he yowls in pain and tries to cover his ears, but is in too much pain to move. "Are you going to start being nice?" you ask.
"I-I will! L-let go!"
"I don't believe you. If you want me to let go, you have to promise me something…"
"Anything!!"
"Promise me you won't do anything to hurt me. And that you'll protect me."
"I promise!! I'll never hurt you again!!! I'll protect you!!"
