"Warlocks? Why would they want to fatten me up?" Pheobe asked him, utterly confused. She nervously rubbed the gentle swell of her belly.
"Well, the usual reason why anyone fattens up anyone else, I guess. Because they love fat people." Cole said.
"...I still don't get it." Phoebe was struggling to understand the twisted logic of the evil and insane kinds of people who would sell their soul to be given a dose of power that they could have developed simply by studying the occult for a long time.
"Well, like I said, I also appreciate a bigger woman. So you can understand the idea that some people enjoy the feel of a fuller figure right?" Cole asked.
"Well, yeah, I guess so." She turned sideways to look at her protuding belly in profile. "But why would a Warlock want to make our sex more fun for you?"
"Think about it from an evil point of view. All he knows about you is that you are a Charmed one, fashionably slender and dating rich, good-looking guy. As far as he knows, I'm not just an ordinary mortal, I'm also not interested in bigger women. After all, I've never asked you to gain for me because I want to be more sure of our relationship first."
"Wait," Phoebe realised what she was hearing. "So you'd like me to gain?"
"Only if you would like to. I find you amazingly beautiful. I just happen to enjoy the idea of you with a bit of a pot-belly. Just some more of you to love."
"Go on with your explanation."
"Well, whoever it is obviously thinks that the minute you start getting bigger, I'm going to get all annoyed and dump you. Then you're supposed to start feeling depressed and unloved, just in time to 'coincidentally' bump into the love of your life. He'd appear as if by accident, ask you out and expect you to say yes because you're supposed to think that no one could ever like a fat woman like you. Then he starts dating you, working away at your self-esteem and lowering your defences. Finally, he'll use his magic to make you obsessed with him, removing you from the power of three and giving him a nice big sex slave that also happens to be an incredible status symbol, being one of the greatest witches of all time."
"And he expected this to work?" She asked, incredulously.
"Probably not. Remember, Warlocks tend to do things on a flight of whimsy. They aren't usually long-term planners or they'd just develop their own powers and become evil witches instead of selling their soul for instant gratification. This was probably what ran through his head in a single moment as he cursed you to gain a lot of weight fast, then he forgot all about it."
