Paige left the theatre, pulling a finger at the straps of her bra. It felt tight. Maybe it had shrunk in the wash, but she doubted it. Piper was very careful about clothes in the wash. She might have gained weight. She'd have to check. No matter, she was heading home anyway. She pulled her jacket closed as it was cooler now. It wouldn't quite zip all the way up. No matter. It must have shrunk too. Piper must have washed it. Some people wash jackets, right? Sure they do. That must be it. Piper had washed her clothes and she'd shrunk them. That would also explain why her baggy pyjamas felt a little less baggy, lately. Shrunken.
She was so pleased at the fact that she hadn't gained weight at all! Then she got in the house and felt so confident that she decided to weigh herself. Ah. 112lbs. A 17lbs gain. Wow. She'd gained that much? That was actually kind of impressive. But she'd last weighed herself eight and a half days ago. That couldn't be right could it? 2lbs a day was pretty much impossible. And then she had a worrying thought. Sure, it was impossible. But she battled impossible evil every week. She did impossible things all the time. Why not a Demon of weight gain, or a Warlock that made women fat? Or a jealous Witch putting a curse on her figure?
After first putting on a looser shirt and forgoing a bra, she headed to the attic and consulted the Book Of Shadows. It'd be in here for sure.
