John grabbed one of Jessica's blouses from the closet and reached for the medallion that they always kept in a drawer of the nightstand. It wasn't there. John quickly scanned the room but didn't see it.
"Honey, where'd you leave the medallion," he called walking into the hallway.
"Sorry, dear. It's in Winnie's room. I forgot to put it back."
"No harm, I guess, since she's not here. We don't want her accidentally changing until we show her when we go on vacation after the dance."
"But Daddy, I want to change into you or mommy later," Jessica teased in a whiny voice.
John just shook his head as he walked into his daughter's room. Jessica and he had promised their daughter a special magical vacation which is why they had been practicing with the medallion.
As he looked for the medallion, his excitement to be his wife grew and grew. It was almost addicting for him, so much so that he and Jessica had had to set rules for themselves. He was just really glad that Jessica had decided to let him be her for this outing, and he rushed over when he saw the medallion on the bed.
