This choice: She has to head home before she leaves (...to lazy to conjure up why...)  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

Home to heal

    by: Unknown
"It's okay Bulbasaur, Mom will know what to do." Leaf told the pokeball in her hands as she trudged away from the lab. Surprising that for such an eventful place, Pallet Town had no pokecenter. Leaf had never even seen one, so she wasn't sure she'd trust her newly begotten pokemon to such a clinical, impersonal sounding chain. She sniffled a little more and wiped her eyes, only to bean herself with the pokeball.

"Oh, I'm such a klutz!" she whined. She looked around, unsure where to put the pokeball. Many trainers kept them on a belt or loop, but Leaf didn't have one. She didn't want to put it in her bag either, feeling like she had to keep it close. She sighed, looked around, and when she was sure no one was peeking she reached in and nestled the pokeball snug in her cleavage. It fit easily.

"Guess having busts for brains isn't all bad...." she muttered, giving a sad laugh. "Don't worry Bulbasaur. You and me will figure it out, huh?" she wasn't sure if her pokemon could hear her, but it felt comforting to have something to talk to. Leaf's mind turned more positive with that. She and Bulbasaur were a good pair. Maybe not the fastest or most aggressive like Blue, but they'd get where they were going. And hopefully have a good time along the way.

Leaf was quickly back home. She walked right in to find her mother in the kitchen.

"Honey?" her mother asked in confusion. Her face softened upon seeing Leaf's expression. "Oh, they were out of pokemon, weren't they."

"N-no." Leaf awkwardly got out the pokeball, wishing she had remembered to do so before reaching her mother. Her mother just gave her a look.

"I got one...and immediately lost. He fainted and everything. I'm the worst trainer ever, a loser in record time..."

"Oh, dearest." her mother came over and put a hand on her soft shoulder. "All it needs is a little rest and love, and it'll be back in fighting shape in no time. You'll get the hang of it. Looks like you could use a little TLC as well, hmm? How about some comfort brownies?"

Several minutes later, a newly refreshed Leaf and pokemon exited her house. Leaf rubbed a belly now full of chocolately goodness. She looked down at it and tried to pull down her shirt, which was showing off a crescent of pale belly fat now. The shirt refused to cover both her impressive breasts and growing gut. Leaf sighed.

"We both need to get into fighting shape, huh?" she asked. She had found a good clip to keep her pokeball at her waist. It made her feel more official. Leaf set her soft jaw, looked skyward, and marched with determination towards the route out of town.

You have the following choices:

1. Marching through town, she knocks right into someone

*Pen*
2. She begins her journey towards Viridian

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
