Sonic The Bat: The Truth

         "Sh-Shadow..." Sonic spoke in Rouge's default seductive tone. "I don't know how to explain this... but Sonic is not dead." She looked to the side, but Shadow came closer to her standing very close as he made her make eye-contact.

         "What the hell are you talking about?" Shadow tilted his head, unsure if Rouge had just fallen down too hard.

         "Whatever Eggman used in that ray he shot... It killed the body, but not the mind..."

         "Rouge, what are you saying?" Knuckles chimed in.

         "It's just that... I am not Rouge. I am Sonic."
