Megan set her hand on the ground, fingers outstretched, to allow Joe and Erin to climb into a palm wide enough for both of them to stand in quite comfortably. Once her brother and his girlfriend were in her palm, she began to rise to her full height. Looking down and seeing their pale expressions, she realized she'd risen a bit too quickly for their comfort. It's something she'd have to work on as a giantess, especially if she grew again later.
After giving them a moment to gather themselves, Megan brought them up to her eye level, more carefully this time so as to not repeat her previous mistake. Finally, she asked, "Is that the university over there, Erin?"
Erin turned to look at what Megan was pointing towards with her other hand. Thanks to being considerably higher than any of the houses and most of the trees around, Erin could just make out the somewhat sprawling university campus in the distance. Squinting, she thought she could recognize some of the buildings she so often fantasized towering over. "Yeah... Yeah, that's it!" she answered excitedly.
"Well then, let's go! Hang on!" and with that, Megan started to take her first proper steps as a giantess. Each step she took sent a little shake through both the ground and the soles of her car sized bare feet, as well as slightly jiggle her massive breasts. Both sensations she found to be oddly satisfying, especially the latter. Despite this, she did her best to navigate through town with care. She did want to be seen as a gentle giantess, after all, though her inexperience meant some minor accidents were unavoidable.
Joe was amazed by how quickly they traveled thanks to his sister's enormous strides, stepping over houses in the way with barely any effort. They were upon the university campus in just a few minutes, which would've taken them longer otherwise. Looking up from her hand, he noted she was still grinning from ear to ear, her hazel eyes filled with obvious glee. She briefly smothered him and Erin in her huge chest before carefully setting them down.
"Er... Right... Which way is it to the biology lab?" he asked, trying to ignore how uncomfortable and aroused he was right now.
It took Erin a few seconds to regain her senses after the biggest hug in her life, but soon led Joe to the lab, unlocking the door with her student card. She followed him in, the door automatically closing behind her.
Outside, Megan sat down as quietly as possible, and watched the light on the lab door change from green to red. She leaned forward to examine the side of the building, but couldn't see any windows, and so couldn't see inside. She eventually opted to lie on her back, having more than enough room to do so, and watched the clouds pass, absentmindedly imagining herself big enough to reach out and actually touch them, even literally having her head in the clouds.
She didn't know how long she'd apparently been daydreaming before she finally noticed Erin trying to get her attention. "Oh! Sorry! I hope you weren't waiting very long..." she apologized, blushing with embarrassment.
"It's fine. Your brother asked if I could get samples from you for the tests he wants to run." Erin replied.
"Well, the least I can do for him is to be cooperative..." Megan muttered, visibly shuddering at the thought of needles.
Erin approached the reclining giantess' arm, and with some difficulty, managed to get a needle in and withdraw some blood. She took the blood sample inside, then came back out to get another sample. For this one, she needed a sample of Megan's cum. With a little prodding, Erin got the giantess to comply, and got her sample... along with a serious desire for a cold shower to wash and calm herself.
After a quick use of the lab's full-body decontamination station and a change of clothes she kept as a spare, Erin brought the samples to Joe. "Here are the samples you wanted. How's the serum coming along?"
"I'm amazed this place has nearly everything I need." Joe remarked, "In fact, it's a little too convenient... Is there something you'd like to tell me, Erin?"
"Okay, so I was working on a growth serum of my own. I didn't know you were working on one too..." Erin explained, "I guess great minds really do think alike, huh? Anyway, when I found out, I hoped we could work together to perfect them... though yours is clearly much closer to being perfect in that it works."
"Really? Wow! Maybe once I finish synthesizing some more of my formula, we can compare notes! Granted, I should also start analyzing these samples to gain some insight, and create a counter to keep Megan from growing dangerously big. Better to be safe than sorry."
For the next couple of hours, Joe and Erin worked diligently until they at last had a new flask of the growth serum in the form Megan drank... at least he hoped. For all he knew, an unknown variable could've made hers successful that the remaining original and the new formula lacked. Once the analysis of his sister's samples was complete, he looked at the results, curiosity soon turning to utter disbelief.
"What is it?" Erin asked, only to read the results herself when she looked over Joe's shoulder. "Oh my..."
"I hypothesized that her hormone levels would still be a little high, but this defies logic! Her growth hormones especially are through the roof!"
"So she's enough hormones coursing through her system to be considered a controlled substance?"
Joe nodded. "To put it simply. Her cum's even crazier, and... I don't know how this is possible, but it seems to have an uncanny similarity to the original serum. Granted, I don't think it's limited to her cum; any secretion might be similar..."
"But I was covered in her juices to get that sample! I swear I gagged on at least a little of it! If what you're saying is true, why aren't I any bigger yet?"
"Hm, maybe you didn't have enough for it to really do anything? Then again, we should run tests to see what's different, and if we can expect the same results in you or anyone else. I need to know what I've inadvertently done to my sister." Joe answered, before proceeding to test the results against the formula. While grateful his girlfriend was being so patient, he still hated keeping her waiting to realize their fantasies, especially as they were so tantalizingly close...
These test results came back much quicker, but seemed to give more questions than answers. They were almost identical, but unknown microorganisms had been detected that seemed to have formed some kind of symbiotic bond with her cells. Where had they come from? Did this mean the serum wouldn't work for Erin after all, unless she had these... things in her, too? Joe didn't know, but it appeared that their removal invariably killed the host cells.
Erin studied the strange symbiosis further. The relationship seemed to greatly enhance the microbes' host's cells, but that might be just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. It was certainly fascinating, and she was especially curious if the microbes could be transmitted to herself. Unfortunately, she and Megan didn't share the same blood type, so she couldn't just transfuse a bit of her blood... and Megan likely wouldn't let another needle near her even if they did, having an understandable disdain for them.
Still, if they could be found in their host's secretions, Erin figured that perhaps she could use this to her advantage...
"I guess I should tell Megan about this. She has a right to know what we do, after all." Joe stated with a sigh, followed by his stomach reminding him he hadn't eaten anything since breakfast.
"We'll tell her together, Joe. But we should also look into testing this formula on someone to see if it works on its own. We could slip a little bit into a girl's food and see if she grows from it. Most everyone here is done with puberty, so that's at least one variable accounted for." Erin suggested. "Perhaps some food, first. My treat."
"I'd like that." and with that, the two carefully secured their work and left the lab. However, when they came out the door, Megan was apparently gone... Joe feared she may have either been captured by the military, believing her to be a threat and wanting to experiment on her or use her as a weapon... or had grown tremendously, and couldn't fit within the university campus.
