You roll over, staring into the sky. Your breathing started to slow as the adrenaline level died down. You laughed, still breathing heavily,
"Yes! Who can't finish a race now!" You yelled, shutting your eyes away from the harsh sun. Your arm's spread out as you took a deep breath, feeling like you could stay there for-ever.
After a few minutes of watching the clouds float along, your day felt ruined as a new black cloud filled the sky's. Grain's of dirt rained down from it, along with blades of grass. "Grass? Dirt?! Oh no!" You yelled, in sudden realization as the cloud came into focus. A giant foot plummeted down, dirt and grime covered it. You looked at a wilting flower, plastered and mangled beyond recognition. Your arms reached out in hope of stopping the blow, without success. You whole body mashed into the ground for a moment. Her foot twisted in a movement for her next step, ending your unheard screams.
"Ew... i hate the outdoors..." Rosa whined, dragging her feet across the ground.
"Hm? Whys that?"Hanna asked, raisin her eyebrows slightly before sipping her grapefruit juice. A bead of sweat traced down her nose.
"Because, if you take one step..." Rosa said, ripping a leaf from a tree before continuing, "One step, then you either stepped in dog poo, or a bug goes squish between your toes." She laughed, sitting down heavily in the garden chair. She flung her foot up to Hanna's confused face, showing the smear of red across her foot. They both laughed for a second as Rosa wiggled her toes.
A few minutes passed, the laughing subsided to giggles as Rosa put her foot down, wiping it with the leaf with her attention focused on Hanna,
"Wasn't Alex supposed to be here?" She said, casually disposing the leaf.
Alex vanished the next day, no-one ever found out the truth.
