The teacher's feet start to grow.

Ivy began working away in her textbook, periodically asking questions. Her teacher, Heather, happily assisted Ivy and fluttered her heels back and forth, her sandals dangling, barely hanging onto her toes. Heather's feet began to feel strange, but she paid them no mind and continued to help her student with her studies.
"Sensei, what does this mean?" Ivy asked curiously, pointing to a word in her book. Heather leaned forward and read the word.
"Ashi," she began, "ashi means foot-" she stopped quickly. The straps of her sandals had tightened around her toes. The sandals no longer daintily dangled from her toes, but were tightly pressed against the bottoms of her feet.
