In about an hour or so you hear your mom call you down for dinner. You are dreading to go downstairs because you fear that your parents will start harping on you again. When you get downstairs though, they both seem to be in a good mood. Almost too good of a mood, you think to yourself.
Your mom is unusually chatty and is not even cognizant of the fact that she is not really making a lot of sense. Your dad doesn't seem to care, and just keeps looking at her with an odd almost lustful look in his eye. Your mom starts joking around with your sisters, almost like she was one of them. They don't seem to notice anything is wrong.
You run out of spaghetti, and ask your mom if she could cook you some more, and she just gives you a funny look. Your dad, who normally washes the dishes after dinner decides he would rather play videogames. You look at the kitchen, which is now left a mess and wonder what is happening. You quickly forget about all of this as your girlfriend Becky calls you.
