My doorbell rings, and I get up with a shock. I grab the wand, and walk to my door quickly to see who it is. I glance through the window, and see a guy. I am a bit paranoid at first, being a girl in a new, relatively unpopulated town. I try to get a better look, and realize he is actually very attractive. He looked to be about 6'3" or 6'4", and really well built. He was wearing a kinda tight black T-shirt, showing off how well his body was kept in shape. He had short, buzzed brown hair, and a beard that was the same length, but no mustache.
I whispered to the wand, "Okay wand, let me know what this guy's intentions are." I waved the wand, and the wand let me know that he had a box that was left outside while I was moving in, and he was just being helpful. "Thanks wand!" I whispered again. I paused. "Wand, I'm gonna play around with you a bit, but make yourself invisable to him, and anything I say to you, or when I wave you around, he won't see or hear it." I then waved the wand, and walked up to the door.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"Uh...Hi. My name is Tim, you left a box out near the street, and I saw your moving truck earlier. I think it might be yours."
I took a deep breath, and opened the door slowly, and looked at him. "Hmm...I think that is mine, thank you!" I opened the door all the way, and took the box and set it on the ground, still holding the wand, then stood up. "Thank you so much!"
"No problem, always glad to help." He said, and I sensed a hint of nervousness in his voice, as he glanced down at my body, froze at my chest, then quickly moved back up trying to be polite. I found it really cute, and almost giggled like a retard. I restrained myself, and dragged the box back a big into my house. It was heavy, which was good for me. "If you need..." He started.
"Yeah, I actually do need help, this is too heavy, haha." He picked it up. "Mind if you bring it in here?" I led him to a room with more items, and he set the box down. "Thank you so much! My name is Erika, by the way. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier." I put my hand out, and shook his hand.
"It's no problem at all. I'm actually the house right next door." Tim said. "So if you need anything else to move around, you let me know, I'd be glad to help."
"Which next door?" I said jokingly.
"The only one you can see from this house." He said, and we both laughed a bit.
There was a bit of a silence as we both stood there. I caught him looking at my chest repeatedly. It was like he was fighting with his very nature to not stare. "If you don't mind, Tim, I've been moving all day, and just want to relax for a bit. I don't have cable or internet, and all my books are under piles of stuff..."
"Need me to help get the books for you?" He asked.
"No no...I don't have many friends in the area. If you aren't busy, would you mind staying to keep me company and tell me about this town a bit?" I asked, and smiled.
"Yeah, of course. At least you got the nice furniture out already."
