Adam can't handle his drink.

You look pleadingly into the giant's eyes, hoping for him to see you. His dull, groggy expression does nothing to raise your hopes. You try jumping up and down and screaming, but each yell is drowned out by yet another cough.

Your giant friend has never been able to handle drinking too much, and tonight he went well out of his limits. As his coughing slowly ceases you see a familiar look into his watering eyes. A look you had seen many times before when you guys had had one too many drinks at the bar.
