Join us around the campfire as we spin five chilling tales
This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition! The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
This is a story that hopes to capture the feel of a campfire storytelling session. The first chapter will introduce you to your humble host and storyteller, Ben Mears. After the introductions, you will have the opportunity to choose from five potential stories.
Rules:
1. I won't delete much, but I really do not want anything explicit. This is meant to be a fun, atmospheric game to get in the spirit of Halloween.
2. Try to keep a folklore type of tone to your additions; i.e. "Once, long, long ago, there lived a widow and her two sons..."
3. Please write in the third person as the Narrator is telling the story. However, you may include first person interjections from the Narrator. For example: "Steve wasn't a bright boy, in fact, I'd say he was downright stupid. Nevertheless, he was well enough liked, though for the life of me, I can't say."
4.If you conclude a storyline, try to have a formal goodbye where the Narrator bids his guests farewell, telling them he hopes to see them next year, etc.
5.Try to be as grammatically correct as possible.
6. Happy Halloween
