It was a quiet day at the Kamiya Dojo, as Kenshin Himura was doing the laundry. Both Kaoru and Yahiko were out, visiting a fellow dojo, Sannoske was out gambling, and Megumi was busy with patients.
"Sessha is bored..." sighed Kenshin. Though he was grateful for the peace since the defeat of Enishi, he would still get bored and lonely without his friends. Kenshin folded the laundry and stepped into the dojo to put it away. It was then he saw himself in the mirror and stopped. Was it just his imagination or did he look thinner? Kenshin's arms seemed bonier, some ribs were showing, and his skin was getting more pale. "Maybe Sessha should eat more..."

At Akabecko...
"Wow, that much, Ken-san?" blinked Tae, a waitress and the daughter of the restaurant when Kenshin gave her a big order.
"Sessha is hungry and hasn't had quite a meal in a while," said Kenshin, before Tae stepped away. She soon came back with a large bowl of beef strew, salmon, and some riceballs. Kenshin gave thanks for the meal and began eating. In the past, Kenshin was always haunted by fear and his past and all food was the same to him. But now...it was like he was tasting for the first time in his life. Kenshin enjoyed all the flavors, spices, and sensations he felt. His tongue stung slightly, his belly filled out and swelled, and his spirit felt hardy.
"You seem to have enjoyed your meal, Ken-san," smiled Tae.
That was an understatement. Kenshin LOVED that meal! He didn't want to eat so mincely ever again. At that moment, Kenshin had changed inside. He wanted to stuff his face whenever he could. He wanted to fill his belly as much as he could.
And the dreadness of weight gain was not shunned...but rather welcomed by Kenshin.
Kenshin was becoming enthralled in the idea of growing a belly like the Buddha's. He smiled at the thought of his kimono growing ever tighter. And he welcomed the thought of his skinny body becoming soft and doughy.
