Janice decides to return to the beach now. As she does, she begins to no longer feel exposed at her current size, but still guilty over the lives she's potentially unintentionally ended already. By the time she reaches the shore, Janice actually feels better than she's ever felt in her life! She can actually see every individual person at the beach in her field of vision perfectly without needing to squint to make out much of any features, and can hear their voices even better than she would have at normal size. Admittedly, it's mostly just screaming in terror at the moment.
Janice is...unsure how she feels about their screams. Perhaps her conscience is still feeling terrible about the people she's already killed? Or perhaps something in her...enjoys the bloody carnage she's inflicted, and is eager for more? But for now, she can hardly hear herself think over the beach-goers' cries and screams, and so yells at them, "WILL YOU ALL STOP SCREAMING ALREADY?! I'M TRYING TO THINK HERE!!!"
Almost instantly the panicked crowd falls dead silent, not daring to annoy the bikini-clad giantess before them any further for fear of the possible dire consequences. Janice then smiles slightly and says, "Thank you!"
Now free to think on her situation and such, Janice does come up with one thought. And that is she...doesn't want to shrink down to normal. At least, not right now. She can have a lot of fun being able to grow as big as she pleases and then return to a more reasonable size when she's had her fill for the time being. She's somehow gained this power, it would be a terrible shame not to use it, after all...
Finally, Janice decides to put her feeling of being able to do anything to the test to see if she truly could do anything. Janice focuses on all those she might have killed or injured when she first came to shore as an 800 foot tall giantess by accidentally stepping on them. She figures this should clear her conscience of mostly any guilt she may have so she can see how she feels afterward. And sure enough, crushed bodies reform and the blood spilled by them retreats back into their respective owners. Then with varied gasps, the once dead people fully return to life. Some are confused, having no memory of what happened to them. Others are relieved to have 'survived' being stepped on by a giant woman.
As for Janice, she feels a small sense of satisfaction knowing she can revive the dead if she needs to...provided it hasn't been too long since they were killed. She has no idea what the full extent of this power is, and she's not interested in taking requests to revive anyone she's not directly responsible for the death of. She has to draw the line somewhere...
Janice eyes the crowd of beach-goers inquisitively. As with every beach, there's some who...really shouldn't be seen in swimwear, to put it lightly. But there's also a surprising amount of people who look amazing in their swimwear. She's certain she can make one or more of these people grow to her size for a companion for whatever she decides to do after, but she also wonders if she should consider her friends first to share this with? It's worth considering, at least.
Janice finally comes to a decision regarding her previous feelings. As she suspected, she had been feeling remorseful over her actions. That has subsided considerably after reviving those she's killed, and is now replaced with... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
