You never would have imagined that such an ordinary day would end up like this. As an official ambassador for the Euro Universe, your job was to make your way to the Viceroy's palace to negotiate with Prince Clovis over the ongoing North African conflict, in the hopes that you could end the fighting and spare your people. That goal seems so distant now, though, as you pick up the unconscious girl and try to find help for her. The streets around you seem to be slowly erupting into violence, as soldiers and Knightmare Frames scramble about, picking off anyone who gets in their way.
You stick to the shadows, hoping to avoid the chaos by staying out of sight. Soon enough, however, you find yourself headed off in an alley by a squad of Britannian soldiers. Frightened for your life, you flash your badge and invoke your diplomatic immunity, pleading in halting English for them not to shoot. The soldiers are not fazed; they level their guns at you, saying, "Consider it void, you filthy Hun! You've seen far too much!"
You cringe in terror, prepared for the end, but before they open fire, the world seems to grind to a halt. The same voice that you heard in your head when the green-haired girl kissed you rings in your mind once more. "You have the power to stop this," she says. "When we made our contract, I granted you a great power. I suggest you use it."
Snapping back to reality, you instinctively put your arms down and stare directly toward the soldiers. You feel a tingle in your eyes as this "power" activates, permeating the soldiers' very minds. Suddenly, they drop their weapons and scream. "What in God's name... Aagh, a snake! Kill it, kill it!" 'What happened?' you think to yourself. Somehow, you've convinced them that their guns have turned into snakes! 'This must be the power she mentioned...'
Now armed with the ability to induce hallucinations, you ponder your next move...
