Chapter #5

"Kyle comes a knockin"

Sean, your father, comes into your room to give you the news.

He whispers,"Alex, get your things together." then he yells out, "We're going to the cabin with Kyle."

You yell back, "Wow, dad this is going to be great."

Your dad is putting up a good front since he's not thrilled with Kyle like you are but he has no way out of it without upsetting you. "Kyle is coming to pick us up in his Suburban. He should be here in about fifteen minutes."

Your dad leaves you alone in your room. You don't have much to pack but you want to test out the device before you go. Sneaking out to the back yard, you look for a test subject. You spot a little rabbit and set the device on grow and press the button. "Holy shit!" You yell. "It works." The little bunny is now a six footer. You're about to shrink him back when your father yells that Kyle is here. "Harvey" the rabbit hops off into the woods as you hop to it back into the house.

Seeing the two big men together you think to yourself, "Kyle and dad could have been brothers if not for the thirteen year age difference." It's true that both men are 6'3" but Kyle is 300 lbs of muscle while your father weighs much less and has a little bit of a gut.

"Alex", Kyle yells out when he sees you running toward him. You jump into his waiting outstretched arms and he lifts you high up in front of him.
"Either you're getting heavier or I have to work out some more."

Dad interrupts the big reunion, "Kyle, put him down before he gets a nose bleed. Come on let's get out of here before something happens."
