This choice: He has to clean the pool.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

He has to clean the pool.

    by: Unknown
Arif received a call on hos phone and answered it. To his dismay it was the butler and he had a job for him. " Arif, you are to go down to the pool and clean it. The mistress reports that it is unsatisfactory in level of cleanliness. You will clean it by 2pm." said the butler before hanging up. Arif cursed his luck that he had to clean it now.

He boarded the transport and drove it towards the pool area which was outside and that would require some walking but fortunately it was all underground to avoid nasty accidents. The transport vehicle hummed as it sped towards the pool area which took him right beneath the pool and into a special area where he would get suited up for his task.

It was a fast trip and soon he was there. Arif got out into the entrance where he was forced to deposit his phone and stolen watch before entering. He saw a man whom he recognised as Robert, one of the men in charge of the pool. " So you will be cleaning the pool?" said Robert. " Yep." Arif said rather glumly, scratching his chin where he had grown a small goatee as part of his new look.

" Well you better be careful as the mistress or young Rita might be in the pool as we speak. Though I'd prefer young Rita, she is kind to the servants.' said Robert as both suited up for the job. " I find a kind giant hard to believe.' said Arif as they wore their special suits. Robert sighed before saying," You don't believe me because you are new but Rita will change your mind when you meet her." he said with a smile.

'I'd rather not.' Arif stated. Robert was those blindly optimistic guys he found annoying, many of them were disappointed in the end which meant he had a rough idea how Robert would die. He did not reveal to Robert why he hated giants, it was common for both middle class and poor to despise them and few actually asked why as it was a pointless question. Not that Arif would tell him why even if he bothered to ask, at most he would make up a reason.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. The pool is empty, good for Arif,

2. Rita is in the pool.

*Noteb*
3. It isn't Rita but the mistress.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
