She is attacked by tiny people

As Valerie took a stroll, she was unaware of the threat that came from the grass. The poor who had been forced to live here had banded together to bring their larger and richer counterparts. Traps had been set up to hurt Valerie, she had not ill treated any tiny ones recently or ever but they wanted to kidnap her and get rich off her ransom.
" Ok lads, the girl is approaching.' said th leader who was about a centimetre high here. He had hundreds of people, both men and women ready to hurt her. A shadow fell over him as she passed overhead, he looked up to a pair of lacy white panties visible up he skirt, her sandals crushed an abandoned hut she had not noticed.
Valerie felt something hit her toe. " Must be an insect." she said, her booming voice traveling downwards, angering them at her comparison of them to insects. " Hear that! She thinks we're mere bugs>" he says, plunging a knife( to him) into her sandal as they all climb her sandals. Ahead of them were trip wires built for people like her.
Valerie thought she must have been dreaming but she thought the feeling was down to bugs stinging her. " She's responding!" sayd their leader, watching her flick a man off, not knowing what it really was.
