Valerie frantically rose to her feet, shivering at what had just transpired. Living in a rich neighborhood, no one had ever gone out of their way to attack her before. Those tiny people... No! Those thugs had tripped her up and mugged her. They took her shoes, her watch, crawled under her clothes, and held her at knife point.
She'd never felt so vulnerable and violated in all her life. She'd never wronged anyone before, least of all the small community... So why? Why did they attack her just now?
"Well look who it is Yin." One the girl's who saved her said. "If it isn't the tiny supporter herself, the great Valerie Juschtchenko."
"She doesn't look so high and mighty now does she, Yang? "Yin answered.
Valerie knew those voices. It was none other than the Yin and Yang Kwan. The two were much taller than she as she only reached just below their breasts, a sign of their good fortune considering their family runs one of the banks in this town.
They were also two of the biggest bullies in school, literally. They liked to pick on those beneath them and nine times out of ten people just sat there and took it. Teacher's could barely do anything as they were even taller than them. They also had no love for the poor community. The same community that just robbed her.
"Your lucky we showed up when we did." The ravenette teased. "Any second longer and they might've literally cut you down to size."
Valerie looked down at she took in Yang's words. It was the truth. If she and Yin didn't show up and help her who knows what would have happened.
"Why?"
"Pardon?" Yin asked.
"Why did you help me?" Valerie asked.
"That's simple. We rich folk have to stick together. It's us against them." Yang answered.
"But. But you're both bullies. You pick on anyone and everyone!" Valerie stated.
"True... And look what being so nice got you." Yin sneered. "Mugged in broad daylight. Pathetic. We might be jerks but in the battle of rich versus poor, we'll look after our own. That includes you."
Valerie went silent as the twins tared at her. Silence reigned before Yang broke it. "Come with us."
"Huh?"
"Come with us?" Yin said this time.
"Why?"
Both twins smiled. "It's time you really got acclimated to what being a rich girl really means and were going to help you."
