This choice: She woke up and wanted more to drink • Go Back...Chapter #7She woke up and wanted more to drink by: Me   About an hour later, as the poor bar owners and their friends were continuing with their task of cleaning up the mess caused by Anna’s drunken rampage, also bemoaning the fact that they probably wouldn’t be able to open for a few days, with the loss of income that entailed, there was the unwelcome to them sound of Anna stirring. They hadn’t started on that corner of the bar yet so they went round to have a look at the expensively dressed but bedraggled Anna, lying in a pool of her own piss and vomit and spilt alcohol. “I want….more….drink”, slurred Anna to the gathered staff but then suddenly Anna gagged again, spraying the staff with more vomit. Anna let out a giggle at the humour of it all before slumping back down again.
Then suddenly something even more unsettling started happening. The ground started shaking and windows and furniture started rattling, not long after there were sounds of things falling, crashing to the floor. They looked at the semi-comatose form of Anna……..she was growing, growing before their eyes. Nobody there new it and maybe even Anna wasn’t aware (certainly not at this moment!) but it was midnight and in another part of the world a business deal had been struck that made Anna’s family immeasurably richer and in society as it existed at that time it could only mean one thing, size change. But what an unfortunate moment, Anna in a bar rich girls like her don’t normally frequent in a part of town rich girls didn’t normally go to and this happens. As the semi- conscious Anna grew and grew her body started pressing the sides of the building, causing things to start collapsing. The bar staff immediately dropped what they were doing and fled.
The growth went on for a couple of minutes. There was noise and pandemonium and dust in the streets around as the ever growing girl grew through the bar and several surrounding buildings and crushed several cars, causing debris to rain down on her. One particularly big bit of brickwork fell on her with quite a thump, but being bigger it didn’t hurt as much but it did startle her awake. “Wha---wha----what the $%&^!”, she exclaimed, suddenly lucid and eyes open wide, there is nothing like a jolt to take away some of the drunken lethargy. She looked around, “how did I get outside?”. She wondered why everything was suddenly uncomfortable underneath, it was rubble, she could believe it when she picked up a bit of debris which was definitely a part of as roof and then discovered the wadded remains of a car underneath her hip. She looked around again, everything was so tiny, “£^%$! I’m $&^%ing huge!”, she exclaimed, suddenly breaking out into a smile, “that’s so &^%*ing cool!”, she continued in her expletive laden drunken slurry speech. “Come on you £^%%$ers give me more drink!”. “Hmmmm, this is going to be a lot of fun”, she smiled to herself…..
