Ten years had past, but luckily, the dragon was able to fend for himself. T dragon pretty much had to, because everyone that he encountered ran away from him or tried to kill him. This made the dragon very depressed and lonely. He had no one, but himself. in those ten years, the dragon had grown. It from the size of a house cat to about thirty feet tall from the ground to the top of his head. Even though that is big to a human, is is only half the size of a full grown dragon.
The dragon was running through the woods. His body was covered in wounds and slashes that were causing him to bled at a dangerous rate. He was running for his life. Dragon hunters were chasing after him, even though the dragon didn't see them anymore, he knew they were still chasing him. The dragon made it to the edge of the forest. He was trying to find help, but he feared that no one would help a dragon like himself.
He saw a human settlement. It looked like a farm, but there were no crops or animals. Instead there were three house. One looked like a barn, one was the house for the family, and the dragon didn't know what the other house was for. The dragon knew that it would be hard to convince a human to help him, but he had to try. It was his last hope. The dragon rushed to the human settlement.

George and his family were sitting on the porch in there rocking chairs. They were watching the sun set in all it's beautiful glory. George's family consisted of his wife and three children. The oldest son was fourteen and his name was Danny, The middle child was eight and her name was Lily, and the final child was Peter the six month old baby.
George was a blacksmith and he had set up his establishment on his father's farm. Now his parents were dead and George never started the farm back up again. Though, he didn't take down the barn that was still on his property. All five of them were relaxing on the porch.
Suddenly, a dragon, a real life dragon, appeared on there property. The dragon was fearsome with a height of thirty feet and a length of about eighty feet including the neck and tail. "Ellen, Take the kids inside. Hurry," George ordered. Ellen didn't argue and she brought the children inside. George's father's pitchfork was still on the porch. George picked it of and turned to face the dragon.
However, when he turned around, the dragon had already collapsed on the ground. George took a closer look and saw that the dragon had many wounds that it was dying from. George tossed the pitchfork aside, because the dragon didn't have the strength to fight. He yelled for his family to come out. They did and they were shocked to see the dragon lying on the ground. "Did you?" Ellen asked.
"No," George answered, "The dragon already came with these wounds. The dragon is smaller than usual dragon. It's probably not fully grown yet."
Then, to everyone 's surprise, the dragon pleaded, "Please, help me."
The family was shocked. The dragon had spoke and it sounded like a child's voice. "H-how old are you, dragon?" Ellen asked.
"Ten years," the dragon answered.
Ellen and George were surprised that this thirty foot dragon was only ten years old, two years older than their Lily. "Oh George, we have to help it," Ellen told him.
"What?" George asked, "It's a dragon! It would just eat us once we helped it."
"I won't eat you, I promise," the dragon replied, "Please, help me."
"How did you get those wounds?" George asked.
"Dragon slayers, they try to kill me, because I exist," The dragon cried.
Ellen crouched down next to the dragon's head. George tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen. She began to pet the dragon's head as his tears fell from his eyes. "You poor thing. Of course we'll help you," Ellen told the dragon. She then turned to her husband. "This may be a dragon," she said to him, "but it's just a child not much older than Lily. We have to help it."
George gave in. "Alright, take him to the old barn. I'll wait for the dragon slayers and send them in the opposite direction," he told her.
Ellen agreed and her and the children encouraged the dragon to get up. the dragon was weak, but he was able to get up and walk to the barn. Once the dragon was out of sight, George could see the dragon slayers in the distance. What did he do?
