The Guest is the Demon Mother in Disguise?!

    by: Jeary Author IconMail Icon
Little did she know that the guest was none other than her own demonic mother in disguise. Of course more than often guest have often brought a bit of trouble to this farmland. Theresa however wouldn't let any one harm the farmers, despite her tough and harsh temper she did have a soft side, one that only Jeffrey was able to see from time to time. This developed mostly due to the fact that she would go around and secretly reward those who worked hard for those efforts. Unfortunately very few realized these rewards for t here hard work were from Theresa. As the guest came in the door Theresa didn't quite understand it, but something in her felt as this guest would be trouble.

" Hello there do come in? What brings you here?" Guinevere asked the stranger.

" I have heard rumors of some sort of demon here and they intrigued me. So I thought I should come and visit here myself." The stranger said. Theresa's mother then offered her some food and drink which she gladly accepted, while she was conversing with Guinevere she always kept an eye on Theresa as if she was looking for something. Strangely enough the look she gave after word was a bit of disappointment. All though she could have just revealed herself and told the truth about who she was, the demon in disguise wanted her daughter to embrace her destiny even if she had to make a few adjustments to ensure this would happen, and once her daughter was ready to embrace who she truly was. That would be when she would step in, after all she didn't get to be a strong demon by being impatient.

"Perhaps you would like to give your name? It would be a shame for you to leave without giving us your name?" Guinevere asked.

" A name would give you power over me and I don't wish to do that, instead I will leave quietly and leave you to your peaceful and insignificant lives." The Demon in disguise said. Guinevere couldn't quite understand what the person was saying but no sooner than arriving did she leave of course not before having a word or two with Theresa. " Hello Theresa, I hope you are doing quite well, but I assure you could do better than this lackluster place." The Demon in disguise said.

" I am fine, right where I am. I have no reason to be anywhere else, nor do I wish to." Theresa said. The demon in disguise was disappointed and angry at this answer, she did however have a plan that would indeed change things. The last thing she saw was her daughter who was looking quite human at the moment arguing with her father who had took an unscheduled break from his work.

" Dad! Stop complaining and hurry up and get to work!" Theresa said. " There's no need for me to work anymore today. It's almost done so I might as well get some rest." Theresa dad said.

" If we don't work hard it'll come back to bite us! And It will be better if we all do are part instead of just sky gazing! It'll be done that much quicker!" Theresa argued. The day then continued the usual for Theresa which ended up with her scolding every single person that she has considered to be lazy. Little did she know that this was all about to change all because of her true mother's plans? Of course she had no idea of what those plans would be.
