Just as you slip in through the window of your apartment, your spider sense tingles. You quickly hide Mary Jane’s gift in one of the drawers so that you can surprise her with it later.
“Well look who finally showed up!”
You turn to see your gorgeous wife staring at you with those beautiful green eyes of hers. Underneath your mask you smile, whether MJ is mad at you or not…you’re happy to see her.
As you take off your mask, she walks up to you, leans in and kisses you on the lips.
“Welcome home,” She says hugging you tightly before giving you a light punch on the arm. “You kept me waiting long enough.”
You look at your wife apologetically. “Sorry MJ,” you say sadly. “I really wanted our anniversary to be special but…”
Mary Jane waves you off. “Don’t worry about it Peter. I’m just glad you’re alright” She smiles playfully before adding. “Besides…I’m sure I’ll find a way for you to make it up to me somehow.”
You smile at how understanding MJ is. “Definitely,” you say. “I suppose you have something in mind.”
Mary Jane grins. “Well it is our anniversary after all…”
