Just as Ivy's plan came together, everything came apart at the seams. Instead of fully integrating into her skin, you start to push out. Your start to form a more defined shape again. All of this happens to the oblivious Ivy who continues gloating about her victory.
"And then, the rest of Gotham shall truly feel the wrath of Mother Nature just like you, cowering beneath my feet. But enough about me, let's see how my new skin blemish is doing," she giggled, raising her leg.
Strength coursing through your body for the very first time, you begin to struggle, severing the roots connecting both bodies. Your body thrashes as her mouth opens in shock.
"What is this?" she said astonished. But, her bewilderment would soon transform into anger as she quickly deduces the situation.
Poison Ivy snarls in frustration as your plummet down, finally severing her ties with you. Your body makes a small thud as it lands ever so gracefully on the concrete floor. Pigments of white slowly return to your skin. You sigh in relief, as you become independent again.
"Impossible, the serum should have worked!" she snarled as you quickly recover and flee.
"How can this be?" she adds, staring at her lab research incensed.
She stands to full height, the proverbial giant, towering over your fleeing figure. But, you pay her no mind as you continue running.
"You little-" she starts, her fists shaking in fury. She starts to chase after you, but another figure enters the scene.

She staggers back as the Batman, the Dark Knight, lands in front of her.
"How did you-?" she stammers.
"How did I what, Pamela, find you here? You're as predictable, Isley, I'd figured you'd be hiding in one of your old greenhouses after your little jailbreak," he smiled confidently.
"You won't stop me this time, Batman, I've come too far. Too much research to go down the drain, too much," she shoots back.
"Oh, I have no intention of stopping you, Pamela. I'm ending this little charade right now. You won't continue to put innocent lives on the line, I'm ending this," he told her.
"Big talk from such a little man," she purred, her hands slowly wrapping around a test tube.
"Don't make this hard on yourself, Isley. Don't make me hurt you!" he said, his fists clenching.
"That's the only way it can be, darling!" she smirked, before hurling the test tube at him.
With the reflexes of a thousand battles past, he dodges the projectile.
"Come and get me, darling!" she leers at him, turning and running away.
"Always the hard way, Pamela!" he sighed, walking after her
