Nicole sighed as she arrived back at the townhouse she shared with some of the other students she was going to college with. While she described herself as ordinary, the truth was that she was fascinated with the occult. She loved things like seances, ESP, and looking into the future. Nicole let her mind wander as she sat on one of the couches in the townhouse living room, idly playing with a few strands of her long brown hair. Then, she heard her stomach gurgle. Nicole grimaced as she got up to make herself dinner. Her first semester of college was proving to be tougher than she'd been anticipating, and among other things she noticed that she'd already put on the dreaded "freshmen fifteen." So she'd been trying portion control to see if she could arrest the softening of her body, maybe even lose some of that weight.
But the hunger she was feeling now wasn't ordinary. Usually, eating a salad would curb her craving for more food at least somewhat, but tonight's dinner didn't seem to put a dent in it at all. Nicole tried to deny it at first, but her willpower could only hold out for so long. Once the feeling became unbearable, Nicole dove into the pantry, not even bothering to really see what it was she was eating.
Finally, after clearing out a good chunk of food in the house, Nicole was full. She had retreated to her room and closed the door, not really wanting any of her housemates to see her as she reclined on her bed and cradled her swollen belly. "What the heck is wrong with me..." she moaned as she tried to get comfortable. The pain of an empty stomach had been replaced by the pain of one that was overfull, and Nicole wasn't sure which pain was worse.
She was also wrestling with the guilt of having totally failed her diet for the night. She vowed that once she'd slept the food baby off that she'd try and take a long walk in the morning before class to try and work of what would undoubtedly be some new excess pounds in the morning. Not long after that, she finally drifted off to sleep.
Unfortunately for Nicole, that would only be the first time that she had to deal with her cursed hunger. It would, in fact, show up again the next day, and at a rather inconvenient time as well. When she felt those unnatural hunger pangs again, Nicole was...
