lay me on the floor and step on me

I’m carried over to the door and laid on the floor in front of it. They lay me there like a rug. Mike laughs saying “Good Idea we need something to wipe our feet on when we come in from outside.”

I can do nothing but look up. Up at all the guys staring down at me.

Steve walks over with a beer for each of them and suggests going out on the front porch to relax as it’s a nice night. All the guys agree and the door swings open over me. Then, one by one they step on me on their way out of the door, some of the pausing to take the opportunity to step firmly on my face. The door was pulled closed behind them. I was left to lie there.

After a while I heard a strange noise on the roof. It was raining. I heard the guys laughing. No doubt about what else they could do to me. I lost track of time and was snapped back into reality as the door swing open again. I looked up to see Jimmy standing there holding his flip-flops. He lifted his foot over my face for me to see that he had been out walking I the mud. He stepped forward and wiped his feet right on me.
Then one by one they all came in doing the same. Some on my face, some on my stomach but all making sure their feet and shoes were clean when they were done with me.

Then they kicked off their shoes, that were still wearing any, and they headed in to get ready for bed. They left me there to dry with mud chunks all over me for the night.

I heard them talking about what they wanted to do the next morning. Some wanting to fish, some to dirtbike, other to hike.

I could only imagine what any of those meant for me.
