Jake decided to call his friend. He looked for the phone, but could not find it. So instead, he ran out of his house and down the block to his friend's house. His friend's name was Joey. He saw that Joey's house had been destroyed, too.
"What's going on?" aked Jake when he saw his friend.
"I don't know," replied Joey. "We all found our houses like this when we woke up. Nobody has any idea how they got this way."
"Hmmm..." said Jake aloud. "The only things capable of causing this amount of destruction are stampeding animals, a few armies, or a giant person."
"But how did we not notice? Either way, we would've been killed--or at the very least woken up..."
Jake had no time to respond because that was when the sun was eclipsed by a huge shadow. Everybody looked, of course. And there was Jasmine, his crush. He had liked her since sixth grade and it never changed. She looked down and he saw her seductive face.
"Run, Jake!" said Jimmy.
But Jake didn't. He just stayed there. Jasmine began to walk and...
