The little runt was going to ruin everything. His brother's size and strength protected the cub at all times, but if he was going to rule, in his proper place, with his intelligence and cunning enough to sort out this whole kingdom, the runt was going to have to get out of the way.
It was his scrawniness, that was the problem. Scar, pacing in his cave, looked at his body. It was thin and almost fragile. He needed to get bigger if he was going to take on his brute of a brother.
Well, if it was food he needed, there was the direct approach, and take out his nephew while he was still small... or, if he wanted to truly binge, he could go to the elephant graveyard and convince his hyena friends to add a few more bones to the pile, really bulk himself up.
