Chapter #6

Exact Measurements

You honestly expected Chester to say something like this to you by this point. It was the only reasonable reason for Chester to sat he knew how you felt. You had just hoped it wasn't going to be like that. Chester kept talking while you sat on his palm.

"Yeah, I did the conversions of units and... and it turns out that most of the others of my species are comparatively larger to me than I am to you. I'd make the comparison of them being, like, 50+ miles tall to me."

You couldn't help but do the math in your head. You wanted a number for the height of these anthros. Chester being 15 miles was 5 feet to him. Meaning his measurements were 15,840 times bigger. Multiplied by 50 miles, these larger anthros were over 792,000 miles tall to you. Just their feet, probably measuring to be 150,000 miles long, would be 6 times the circumference of Earth. These were common heights for the anthros. The planet Earth was smaller than a tennis ball to them.

"Brian, are you alright?"

Before you could begin to worry, Chester pulled you out of your thoughts and into the present moment. His concerned face expanded beyond your field of view from a mile away, despite being relative inches away to him. You had to say something, so you did.

"Uh, yeah, I think I'm... fine. Just, just, shocked, is all."

"Yeah, I would be too, heh heh. Like I said, you won't have to interact with them. Unless you, wanted to. They will be in our classes. But they won't even know you're there, I'm sure. They barely know when I'm there.

You weren't sure if this was a good thing. Not having to interact with them eased your mind, but the fact that they probably would never notice you was frightening.

"So, Brian, are you ready to keep going?"

"Yeah, Chester, let's just keep going."

Chester slowly pulled his head away and resumed walking down the hall. After a couple minutes, he arrived at a door which he opened with a key in his other paw. Upon entering, you find there is a device in the center, which looked almost identical to the one you used to arrive to this planet.

"This teleporter will take us to our next destination. Right now, we need to head to...
