You were being unbirthed.

You wake up to the feeling of something biteing your navel and move your hands to feel what it was. One you grabbed hold of it you realize it was an umbilical cord. The mare was unbirthing you. You start to panic and then something from outside rubs against you. It was the mare's head nussling her belly trying to reasure you everything would be alright. This helps you relax and you soon get comfortible and fall asleep again.
