Licking lilies ( lickys )

You look around trying to get some idea of where you are, maybe even find so landmark to help you find your way back home. Despite your best efforts you don't recognize anything even the plants look very different then the ones you know. Most notably was the clearing front of you was filled with flowers. Some of them were just foot or tall while others towered above you being over 15 feet tall by your estimate and every were in between.

You didn't even know flowers could even grow this big. Was this some sort of mutant strain of flowers? Having no where else to really go and wanting to see the flowers up close you walked into the field of flowers. As you walked through the field you took the time to examine them much clearer than you could at a distance and found that that their size wasn't the only thing strange about them. They had vibrant colors, some were closed up, others that were open kinda drooled some weird liquid with a tongue like appendage in the middle. Some of them were forked like snakes, others more nubby, long, human shaped ones, the list goes on of more exotic shapes and sizes.

They also had pretty big blubs in their stems and thicker but smooth petal tips. The more you looked at them the more you thought that you were dreaming. The is no way such things could exist. Little did you know that the plants were getting ready to strike.

The plants lunged at you and ....
