Gettin' Some Food

The hunger was still far from biting, and she needed to fill her fridge and pantry sooner or later, so Maya decided to head to the store.

And it had to be said, NERV was generous enough with their paychecks. And since she hardly ever spent money, Maya had a healthy sum saved up in her back account.

However, between these two factors, Maya was going to fall into a self-set trap...she had never learned that one should never go shopping with an empty stomach, and a fat wallet. It always leads down the same road.

And sure enough, Maya piled her cart so high with every bit of food that caught even the least bit of her attention that she looked like she was getting ready to feed a whole town...a town with a soft spot for sweets, it seemed.

After shocking the cashier, Maya began the frightening task of loading all her food into her car, and then repeating the ordeal with bringing all her food up to her apartment, and then putting it all away. By the end of it all, she was so hungry and exhausted, that she no longer savored the idea of fixing herself up a nice, gourmet meal. The piles of junk food she splurged on called to her...what to do?
