'Move in' to an empty house

Redd finds two good places to stay. One is a dusty, deserted, rat infested dump, while the other is a nice, clean, big house. The problem is that the nice one isn't empty. He could always make it empty by getting rid of the owners, but that may attract attention. "Now, which one is better? The abandoned house may be rat infested, but it's in a great location; close enough to keep an eye on the tamers, but far enough so they don't see me. While the nice one has running water and electricity, it's to close to the tamers, then again, where better to hide from someone than right under their noses."
