Blinded by the intense mid-day sun you loose sight of the giant bird in a wash of light. However the bird of prey can clearly see you and it's shrill, predatory cry pierces the air above.
You dive for the ground, but it's not enough. Talons grab at the back of your shirt, raking their razor sharp points across your shoulders before lifting you up by the tattered cloth. For an instant the blinding whiteness is grayed over as the shadows of panic stretch across your mind and down into your extremities. While twisting and writhing in fear vision returns to your stricken eyes. You become aware that the ground is falling away below you, the giant avian is rapidly climbing on a favorable wind.
Already you're dangerously high up, and falling down into a grassy field would be hard on bones... Except immediately below you isn't the green of grass, but the brown of a soft, muddy pen populated big large pig like beasts. Struggling free of the bird might be your only chance for survival, but should you land outside the muck of that pigsty you'll be dead for sure.
