This choice: Have her kill your rival • Go Back... You wonder what you should make Megan do. First, you decide it's probably a good idea to protect yourself, so you give her a long series of instructions that will prevent her from ever letting anyone find out that you control and she has to do absolutely anything you say. She doesn't look too happy about it, but then again, she's awful and you don't care what you think. You have her make you dinner, and it turns out not that great because she's a terrible, terrible cook. You start to wonder if there's anything useful she can do.
Then you remember there's this dude at your school who you've grown to hate. Besides being an asshole generally - and he really is one of the world's best - this guy manages to be stupid, care about shallow things, and prove basically unlikeable on a constant basis, and yet he still manages to steal a girl from you at a party at least twice a month. You would love to get rid of him, so you call Megan.
"Megan, you know that d-bag in all my classes, right," you say, as you explain him in detail. "I think he's nice," she replies. (She would.) "Well, I don't," you retort, "and I want you to take him out." "To a restaurant?" she asks. "No," you say. "I want you to kill him."
Megan gets a horrified look on her face, but she doesn't have a choice. "Once you kill him, come back here and tell me how it goes. And I want you to do it now." You smirk, amused at your power, and Megan leaves to go do your bidding as you go back to watching TV. You do start to wonder if maybe this was a bad idea, and maybe your decision was a little extreme. If you had Megan's cell phone number, you'd probably call the whole thing off. But you don't want to get too involved, as you don't want the police finding out later that you had anything to do with this. Now that you think about it, actually, you're probably going to get a new roommate soon.
You didn't really expect her back quickly, but you start to get concerned as the evening rolls on. You sent her off to do your bidding at around six o'clock, and she's not back at midnight. You start to wonder if there's something you should do, but then you receive an IM from one of your friends. Apparently Megan is now at the police station about to be charged with attempted murder. Megan, being kind of an idiot, apparently just found a blunt object and tried bashing the dude over the head with it, except that he blocked her and got away as she screamed after him that she had to kill him. Not very smart.
On the one hand, you're happy that this doesn't make you a murderer. On the other, you were looking forward to ordering Megan around. You could always use the mind control on someone else, but you also wonder: Megan almost certainly wants to tell the police that she's under your control. You're pretty sure she can't, but she might think up some sort of loophole. Maybe you should use the gun to try to break into jail and get her out. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
