A world filled with Morphic female and male pokemon who can change their size

This choice: NO, I BELIEVE YOU, I BELIEVE YOU (coward)  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

I've got some bad news for you sunshine

    by: Unknown
Coward? Really now. Wish everyone was just are carefree and naïve as you are. That way, no one would ever fear death and the world would surely be a better place to live in. And those whose opinions differ from your own gives you the right to address them as such. Who else did you think was going to fill this chapter? Right on. Adolescent.

"Ahem. You know miss I'm sure that's all fine and dandy, but something about that just doesn't seem to sit right with me. I'm sure you understand completely." You cross your arms and do your best to retain eye contact. You figure if you stay calm and talk to her in a slow and serious manner she might actually listen to you, rather then realize how terrified you truly are.

"Oh come on! She's harmless! You've just got to meet her." (Yeah, harmless, that's it. Really, what could you possible be afraid of?)

"Uh you know what, I think I'll sit this one out if that's okay with you. I said I believed you. This is all rather new to me so, I think I'll be going." You take a few steps back as you say this. Ever so slowly. That's it mate, keep at it. Maybe you could make it out the back door without her noticing. But, damn me. She sees you and says something.

"Please, don't be scared. Hahah, you'll be fine." RIght about now it comes to your attention that whoever, or whatever is lying in wait for you outside the house, doesn't seem to be saying anything else. In fact, it's gone completely silent. Either she's eavesdropping on your conversation or has figured out you aren't necessarily comfortable around her, keeping silent until you finally wonder outside until she decides to, well. I'll let you figure that out.

"Oh dear, I'd hate to impose. But I really must be going..." There's no way it's anywhere near that door. I mean, that's what you're thinking. I think you're screwed either way so good luck. Big surprise, you bolt for the door. And....out ya go! It's the first time you've tasted pure, cool air in a long time. Can't say you didn't enjoy it. Hell, for all it's worth it might as well be the last breath you'll ever enjoy. For who should poke their head around the corner but it. You see? Great things happen when you don't listen to me. When will you learn. Do you ever tire of being wrong all the time? Before Charlene is able to catch up to you, the whatever-it-is reaches down and picks you up. Well, well, well. We ARE in trouble now aren't we? She stares at you, examining you, scrutinizing your every feature. You can't blame it. Probably never even seen a human being before. Still, you'd rather she'd do it to a dead one. Your mind races around the world and back again, but you've got nothing. Nothing can be done or said, to prolong what's about to happen to you. You hear her and Charlene mutter something, but your ears are numb. Every thing is rather blurry. Mumble mumble mumble. Like it makes an ounce of difference. You remember you used to own a Pokemon book when you were little. All those lovely pictures and statistics. Though you threw it out though. As time went by. Thinking how appropriate a book about imaginary characters was for a nineteen-year-old. Why oh why did you throw it out? The most useless thing in your life, and you had to get rid of it. Mmph, that probably wouldn't help you either. Nothing would.

Hmm, did Charlene say this thing was harmless? Well at the rate her claws are digging into your back I'd say probably not. Wrong again. That's just your luck. You give people the benefit of the doubt and they always screw you over in the end. Wonderful. You feel as though you're about to pass out. Correction: vomit then pass out. Or the other way round. Whichever comes first. You don't have many 'choices' to choose from...
