Nala stared at the the bushes for a few moments, before saying, "hello, who's there?" The bushes froze, and a moment later, a dark lion emerged, "S-Scar?"
"Indeed," Scar replied.
"Wh-what were you doing," Nala asked nervously. Scar may have been Mufasa's brother, but out here tonight, he seemed sinister.
"I was contemplating," Scar replied, "but tell me young lady, what brings you out at this time of night, surely it's well past your bedtime?"
Nala looked down, embarrassed for a few seconds, before replying, "I was hungry."
"Were you now," Scar said, approaching Nala, and patting her more-than-ample side, "well it seems to me that you've been one very hungry little lady recently."
Nala gasped when Scar touched her, then asked, "you-you won't tell my mother will you?"
"Oh don't fear," Scar said, "I can keep a secret if you can, and one that note, I did hear your little 'desire'." At this, Nala looked acutely embarrassed, so he went on, "oh don't worry, it's nothing shameful, just a little unusually, and if it really is your desire, I think I can help a bit."
"You-you can," Nala asked, surprised.
"Oh indeed," Scar said, "I usually have a little meat left over to finish at my leisure, but I can do without it if it's going to a good home."
"Do you have any now," Nala asked?"
"I do," Scar said, "and I'm sure I could share it, if you would care to dine with me?"
