There once was a boy named Hansel. He lived with his parents and his younger sister, Gretel. One day, Hansel and Gretel were out picking berries for their parents, and they got lost, not too long after, Gretel spotted a house made entirely of candy. The two children began eating the house, for they were famished. Little did they know, a witch lived in that house, a witch who fattened up children and ate them. The witch noticed the noise of something outside and saw the children. She walked outside and greeted them.
"Hello children! What are you doing here? And you look positively famished! Here, come in, come in." she said with a smile.
The children followed the woman inside and thought they were in heaven, there was food everywhere! They could eat whatever they wanted! However, that was not the case for Gretel.
It had been a day since the children had arrived at the candy house, they were both sleeping, but Hansel was in a cage the witch had put him in while sleeping.
"Wake up!" screamed the witch.
Hansel and Gretel woke up confused. Hansel was wondering why he was in a cage, and a large one at that.
"Miss? What am I doing in here?" asked Hansel politely.
"Well, deary, I'm going to fatten you up and once you reach immobility, you're going right in here." replied the witch while patting her belly.
"Why aren't you going to fatten me up?" asked Gretel.
"Oh don't worry, you'll get fattened. But for now you will cook for your brother and that's it! You will get only a few carrots and water every day, so get cooking!" yelled the witch...
