In the room were two beds a large table and 2 benches. They woke up because of the smell of fresh baked goods. pie, pancakes. All very fattening and good. Gretel was very hungry and already started on the food placed on the table, but Hansel was a bit more cautious. He looked around in the room and saw the barred windows. Which he thought was very fishy.
Suddenly he also caught the smell of the food, but only ate which he found necessary. but he saw his sister enjoying her meals.
Hansel noticed that the food was very addictive, but thought it was only so because he never has eaten this kind of food before.
After what seemed 2 hours was past his sister was still eating, only slower. Then the Witch entered the room. "I hope you like sleeping here, you where so famished and sleepy that i placed you in bed, after such a long journey i believe you should rest up for a while and enjoy the meals." Gretel was really thankful and said so with her mouth still full of the pie.
Hansel also said his thanks but was a little bit more suspicious.
After that the witch told them that she needed to get some ingredients for dinner and left them there.
Every day went on with a full table and a lot of napping from Gretel. Hansel on the other hand was more cautious in a way until after a few days.
