The hornbill ran along the Savannah, giddy with his power trip from how big he was, nearly 4 feet tall.
And then it came crashing down, as he ran face first into an elephant, who hadn’t even noticed him. It was a massive blow to his newly developed ego, but Zazu attempted to block it out and keep running, but it was nagging at the back of his mind for a while. Sure, he was so much bigger, but... that elephant didn’t even feel him. Almost as soon as he finished running the Savannah, he turned around to go back to the pond. The trip was as fast if not faster, but his mind was on how much bigger he’d be with it. The longer he mellowed in his own thoughts, the bigger he wanted to get. First 6, then 7, then 8, and now 9 feet tall. By the time he reached the pond, he’d settled on 10 feet. He scooped up as much as he could, and hastily gulped it down, waiting for the changes to take effect.
For almost a minute, there was nothing. But then, a tingle in his arm. And another in his chest. And another in his legs. Soon, the tingling quickly turned into size, and he finished growing at nearly 9 feet tall, but so much stronger than before. The only word to describe him was massive. His chest was easily over a foot wider, his arms and legs could punch through solid rock easily, and with enough effort he could probably pick up the elephant from an hour or so ago. He began the sprint back across the Savannah, going almost 4 times as fast and finishing in just 10 minutes.
