"I hate shots! I hate them!" Katherine groaned. It was that time of year again; flu season. And everyone knows that flu season brings in flu shots along with it. Not that Katherine was scared of getting the flu if it meant avoiding the ever so dreadful shots.
"Now, now, this is just a simple immunization shot. Nothing to be afraid of." the doctor reasured her while sterilizing a spot on her arm. "Now, you're going to feel a little prick."
"OW!"
"There, all done." the doctor explained, rubbing more alcohol on her arm and applying a bandage. "Just keep that on until tomorrow."
"Yeah, thanks." Katherine muttered as she left the room and the subsequent hospital complex. Unfortunately for her, the doctor was a little nearsighted and accidently gave her an experimental hormone therapy medicine that was only meant for older women. At her age, it could cause large amounts of breast growth and heavy milk production.
When Katherine arrived home, she found the house empty and a note from her mother.
"Katherine,
We've left for our second honeymoon and we won't be back until next month. There's plenty of food in the fridge and pantry and your father left his debit card to use for the rest of the month. Just be sure to behave yourself and water the plants each night.
