You finally relize it's the Thornberry family from a Nickolodeon cartoon you've seen before.
Your quite surprised, to see them in person
You back away from the tree, that's when you have a feeling someone's begind you.
You turn around and notice a young girl, maybe 12, 13 or so and has red hair done up in a interesting fashion.
Your amazed at what comes out of her mouth,
"Hi, my name's Eliza. What's yours,"
Your taken back that she spoke your language (new language that is)
"You...you can talk like I can?" you say
"Ya, its a long story" she smiles, she has braces.
"Oh, dental work eh? I know what your going through," you say sort of laughing (to a normal human, whickering would be all they'd hear).
She look's at you quizzically,
"How do you know about braces?" Eliza asks
"Better take a seat, and I'll explain" you take a sort of 'puppy' stance, with your hind legs in a sitting position with your fore legs still upright.
"You see, I wasn't always this way. Let alone, I just got here the same time you and your family did. Oh, how I remember my family, just with them yesterday, now I'm out in the middle of the Savanna and my family is over 1/2 a millon miles from here in the States."
"Did your parents get taken to some sort of zoo?" She asks as she strokes your neck
"No, you see. Oh how should I put this in a way that you won't make fun of me or think I'm crazy?
"Ah yes, now...before I tell you, Eliza. Do you promise not to make fun of me if I tell you?"
"Yes, I promise." She responds
"Ok. The truth is, I was once human. I woke up this morning to find myself a Zebra, just like in my dream I had the night before today. Now I know that this sounds so stupid, you probably want to send me to the animal preserve where you or your parents think I should be.
She continued to stroke your mane
"Wow, how interesting. Did it really happen like that?" She asks
"Yes, and if you don't believe me, I know somthing you probably think a Zebra wouldn't know."
"Ok, what?"
"Our current president of the United States is George W. Bush, and he is the succesor to President Bill Clinton. Bush is due to resign soon."
Eliza looks at you with wide eyes
"How did you..." she trails off
"And how about this, your last name is Thornberry. How I know? Because you where a cartoon character on a Nickolodeon show." You sort of smile
"You have to have been human with an intellect like that."
You and Eliza decide to go to a watering hole just beyond her camp.
