As soon as the group was awake both Kikyo and Kagome demanded better looking more comfortable clothes. With that and the argument that they would be safer there, Inuyasha ran as fast as he could to the bone eater well. He tried to make the trip as smoothly as possible with both Kagome and Kikyo in his pocket, but the girls ended up nauseous. “I don’t feel so good.” Kagome complained. “Inuyasha when was the last time you washed your clothes?” Kikyo commented with the smell that came from her former husband to be’s clothes. “I’ve been bussy trying to find the re-fractured shards of the shicon jewel ”*
{Authors note: this story takes place after the magna where Kikyo used the jewel to destroy Naraku and send his soul to hell}
“Any you couldn’t find time to wash your clothes?” Kikyo responded
“When we get in you better wash your clothes and take a bath Inuyasha, you stink.” Kagome added also suffering from Inuyasha’s offensive odor.
Muttering in defeat Inuyasha jumped down the well into Kagome’s time. He then snuck into the house through the window in Kagome’s bedroom. Kagome told Inuyasha where she kept her old dolls and Inuyasha came back with a handful of clothes from the dolls. Kagome put on a pink shirt with a pair of mini blue jeans made from real jeans that Kagome’s mom had turned into jean shorts. Kikyo put on a white shirt and a red skirt that was close enough to her priestess outfit to wear. “Now,” Kagome said “that’s better. Much more comfortable”
“Easy for you to say” Kikyo replied not thrilled with the options she was given. She at heart wanted her gi back. But since her real clothes were too big these would have to do. Besides they were more comfortable than the make shift ones they were forced to wear. Inuyasha came back up. “Hey Kagome your parents are gone. They leaved this note.” Inuyasha put the note back down on the bed for Kagome to read.
“Dear Kagome,
We went to visit grandma in the country. We stocked up on food so you won’t be hungry. We also leaved enough money to order out. Take care and hope to see you soon. Love, mom”
Kagome sighed in relief. At least she wouldn’t have to try to explane to her family why she was 2.5 inches high. “thanks for showing me this Inuyasha, atleast we have the house to ourselves.” Inuyasha sighed. His friends were at Kaede’s trying to find a way to reverse the spell whole he had to watch over his girlfriends. Not entirely bad but he knew that at this size getting into trouble would be easy. “Now Inuyasha,” said Kagome “I want you to…..”
